Hospital Visits

Spanish Baptism Class

Spanish Baptism classes are held the last Saturday of the month at 6:00pm in Columbus Hall. Please call Blanca Garcia at 775–753–2132 for more information.

Anointing Of The Sick

Anointing of the sick is done the first Sunday of the month after the 8:00am and 10:00am masses at St. Joseph's Church and after the 4:00pm Mass at Our Lady of the Rubies Chapel.

Baptism and Marriage

Baptism – By appointment only. Make appointment with priest or deacon before attending Baptism classes. Must be registered member of parish.

Marriage – Please contact parish office before setting date. Minimum of 6 months advance notice and preparation. Must be registered in parish.

Altar Server's

New in Elko...Just made First Communion...Want to become and Altar Server? Call the parish office at 738–6432 for more information on when classes are held.

Lector and Eucharistic Minister Training

If you would like to assist in the Ministry of Lector or Ministry of the Eucharist, please call the Parish Office at 738–6432. A training session for each ministry will be provided. Eucharistic Ministers must be Confirmed and be able to receive Holy Communion.

Protecting God's Children Awareness class is also required for each ministry.
